There is no need for a back up plan.

Breaking news: White fuckboys on twitter bitching how funny it is that Beyoncé is a feminist when she and her dancers were provocative and half naked. Despite feminism being about empowerment and a woman’s right to do whatever the hell she pleases with it, they just don’t seem to be able to grasp this concept.

In other news, men still don’t know what feminism is, still bitter that they aren’t Beyoncé and still making themselves look like asses on the internet.

And now the weather.

Fuck. This. Shit.

IN THE SHADOWED SPOTLIGHT: A simple, almost architectural image of Maggie Rizer, taken from the US Harper’s Bazaar/Mario Sorrenti archives here (February 1998 to be exact).
A haunting, offbeat image of the American redhead striking a sculptural pose in a svelte Yohji Yamamoto dress and shielding her face from light (in turn creating a beautiful shadowed pattern that makes this image quite powerful) conceived by the heavy-weight team of Sorrenti and Melanie Ward is quite something. Something that we wouldn’t see in today’s print climate but was indicative of the incredible high quality of Bazaar under Liz Tilberis. Charming imagery of the most unexpected manner.
